Onboarding Process
We believe that a smooth start defines the relationship. Our onboarding is a structured project, not an afterthought.
Phase 1: Discovery & Access (Week 1-2)
We build the map of your territory.
- Access Audit: Who has keys? Who has admin rights?
- Asset Inventory: What hardware exists? What software is installed?
- Gap Analysis: Identifying immediate risks (e.g., backups not running).
Phase 2: Stabilization (Week 3-4)
We stop the bleeding and fix the basics.
- Agent Deployment: Installing monitoring and security agents.
- Patch Catch-up: Applying missing security updates.
- Backup Verification: Running a test restore to prove recoverability.
Phase 3: Handover (Month 2)
We move to "Steady State."
- Runbook Creation: Documenting standard procedures.
- Alert Tuning: silencing noise, prioritizing signal.
- First Scorecard: Establishing the baseline metrics.
Policy: No Hardware Subscriptions
Vantus does not lease hardware or bundle equipment into monthly payments. If hardware is sourced through Vantus, it is purchased outright by the client (CapEx) and owned by the client from day one.
