How Pricing Works
Vantus Care is designed to be predictable and transparent. We bill for service and expertise, not for reselling you hardware.
Billing Units
We use three primary billing models depending on the module:
- Per User: For identity, email, and workstation security modules. This scales with your team size.
- Per Device/Site: For infrastructure monitoring, backup, and network management. This scales with your complexity.
- Retainer: For advisory roles (e.g., Fractional Security Officer) and on-call coverage. This is a flat monthly fee for guaranteed availability.
The "No Hardware Markup" Rule
Policy: No Hardware Subscriptions
Vantus does not lease hardware or bundle equipment into monthly payments. If hardware is sourced through Vantus, it is purchased outright by the client (CapEx) and owned by the client from day one.
- You own the hardware.
- We manage the lifecycle.
- No financing lock-in.
Why we do this
By decoupling hardware from service fees, we remove the incentive to oversell you equipment you don't need. You pay market price for hardware (direct from vendor or via us at 0% markup), and you pay us to manage it.
Example Scenarios
- Small Office: 10 Users + 1 Office Network -> Pay for 10 Users (Security) + 1 Site (Monitoring).
- Compliance Needs: Adding "Quarterly Audit" is a flat add-on fee, regardless of user count.
Estimates & Quotes
Because every environment has unique legacy debt, we provide a High/Low Range estimate after our first call, and a Fixed Monthly Quote after the initial discovery audit.
